Fitness Clubs In Branford Holding Special Workouts To Honor Ben Callahan
The memorial workouts are open to the public.

BRANFORD, CT – Fitness clubs in Branford will be holding special workouts on Saturday to honor Ben Callahan, the 10-year-old Branford boy who drowned last Friday in the Branford River. One of those participating is Shoreline Athletics in Branford, on East Industrial Road, which will be hosting two memorial workouts, open to the public, at 8 and 9:30 a.m.
Another is The PIT fitness club on School Ground Road in Branford, which is holding two workouts at 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. in Ben and his family’s honor. Friends and family are welcome to The PIT’s workout.

The workouts are being called “Ben-Ben” and “Ben The Warrior” – in honor of Ben’s nickname.
