Former Branford Cop Loses Court Case Against Town: Report
The officer had served the Police Department for ten years.

BRANFORD, CT — Former Branford police officer Luigi Amasino had his wrongful termination lawsuit dismissed by a judge, the New Haven Register's Mark Zaretsky reports. He served ten years as an officer and resigned in 2017 after he was served with a two-day suspension for violating department rules.
There will be no appeal. Amasino contended he was forced to resign but a judge concluded there was no evidence to support that claim.
