Foul Play Ruled Out in Branford Man's Death: Report
The Branford man went missing on July 1 and his body was found in his car seven days later in Meriden.

MERIDEN, CT — Police don't believe foul play was an issue in a Branford man's death this summer, the Meriden Record Journal reports.
Police said a "preliminary determination" reveals no foul play is suspected in Jason Czech's death.
Czech's body was found in his car in Meriden on July 8. He had been missing since July 1, police said at the time. An official cause of death has not been released as of yet, the Record Journal reports.

Branford police had said that family members believed Czech, 39, was headed to a Phish concert in Saratoga, New York on July 1. Czech was officially reported missing on July 4. Czech worked in the IT department at Bristol Myers-Squibb in Wallingford.
Czech's sister, Amy, had told the Record Journal that her brother went to work Friday July 1, then to a bar in Hartford until 8 p.m., and he texted a friend that he ended up not going to the Phish show, and that he planned to remain in Connecticut. No one had heard from him since Friday, July 1.
