Frontier Presents Branford Community Television with $11K Grant
Grant will be used to increase quality of BCT productions.

Frontier Communications recently presented Branford Community Television with an $11,528 grant as part of its Public Educational and Government Programming (PEG) Grant Program.
The PEG grant program is designed to increase the quality and quantity of community access productions and educational initiatives supported by local TV stations and public schools.
For Branford Community Television, the grant will be used to purchase new equipment to complement their existing technology; the enhancements in equipment will allow the group to provide greater opportunities for live production throughout the community.

BCTV leadership commented on the grant funding, thanking Frontier for their commitment to helping local community programs and initiatives.
"I salute Frontier Communications in that they are
a Connecticut-based company that genuinely cares about its neighbors,
customers, and community access TV stations," said Walter Mann, Station
Manager of NHTV. "This generous grant from Frontier will help us
improve technology at BCTV, including new TV production equipment to televise
remote events such as local debates, scholastic sports and other events that
appeal to Branford residents," said Mann. "Frontier has once again
proven its dedication to the people of its home-state" added Mann.
"BCTV is thrilled to receive this grant from Frontier Communications, a
great community partner," said Elizabeth Ferguson, BCTV President.
"This grant from Frontier will help BCTV enhance its services to Branford
residents," said Ferguson.

Frontier presented 15 cable access TV stations and public school systems across Connecticut with PEG grants totaling $225,000.
