Go Solar: Branford's 'Solar For All' Program Deadline Extended

Local solar and energy efficiency program deadline pushed to Dec. 31 with a workshop and an information session slated.

BRANFORD, CT — The town announced its “Solar for All” program is being extended for residents.

Launched in April, Connecticut’s Solar for All Program makes solar and energy efficiency upgrades more affordable to all Eversource homeowners through a partnership between the Connecticut Green Bank and PosiGen Solar.

PosiGen’s lease program covers the full cost of installing, maintaining, and ensuring the solar system, with no minimum income or no credit score requirements, and no equipment to buy. The Solar for All Branford initiative held kickoff webinars to introduce the program and answer questions- recording here. There has been high interest with over 30 Branford homeowners reached and over a dozen in process of going solar! As a result, the program is being extended until December 31st.

The nationally-recognized program combines a solar lease with energy efficiency upgrades to lower the energy burden on participating households. PosiGen’s lease program offers an extremely affordable opportunity to go solar and provides a production and savings guarantee.
The Town of Branford invites you to attend the following events:

  • Solar for All Homeowners Workshop at the Community House, 46 Church Street, Branford

December 7th, 4 pm to 6 pm.
