GoFundMe Soars To Nearly $20K For Family Of Ben Callahan, 10
A total of 305 people have made donations in an effort to assist Ben's family during this time of tragedy.

BRANFORD, CT - After only one day, nearly $20,000 has been raised for the family of a 10-year-old Branford boy who drowned in the Branford River on Friday.
Since his death, a GoFundMe campaign where the money has been raised.

A candlelight vigil on the Branford Green, attended by more than 1,000 people, was held Sunday night for Ben Callahan, 10, who died after falling into river and being swept away by the current while playing with his two brothers.
He was found dead inside a pipe by rescue workers after a three hour search.

Mourners have made also made visits to where he was found a memorial, placing flowers, and sports memorabilia near the river.
