Grad Tyler Mahoney Joins Fire Chief Dad As Paramedic
Congratulations to Tyler Mahoney, son of Branford Fire Chief Thomas Mahoney.

HARTFORD, CT — Like father, like son.
Congratulations to Tyler Mahoney, son of Branford Fire Chief Thomas Mahoney, who graduated from Capital Community College's 52nd paramedic program and is now, like his dad, a paramedic.
“As first-responders, paramedics are trained to provide emergency treatment, including advanced life support, to patients in emergency situations,” Daniel Tauber, chair of the college’s Health Careers and Public Safety department and director of the Paramedic program said.

“At Capital, we are proud to be the oldest continuously operating paramedic education program in Connecticut. Since the program’s inception in 1985, we have graduated nearly 1000 paramedics, most of whom have stayed in Connecticut and who are providing essential – and life-saving – services to the state’s residents.”
In 2017, Tyler Mahoney graduated from the Connecticut Fire Academy.
