Hamden Symphony Orchestra Presents 'Winter Is Coming'
Hamden Symphony Orchestra Fall Concert set for Nov. 20th.

Hamden Symphony Orchestra opens its 54th season of exiting musical performances in the Greater New Haven area with “Winter is Coming” on Friday Nov. 20th at 7:30 at Hamden Memorial Town Hall (2372 Whitney Ave. Hamden, CT 06518) This concert will feature Ernest Chausson’s lush and colorful song-cycle, Poeme D’amour Et De La Mer (Poem of Love And The Sea) sung by Mindy Ella Chu, Mezzo-Soprano. Evoking a story of love lost at sea as summer fades toward winter, this performance will be complemented by multimedia projections and dance. In addition, Annelise Ellars, student of the Hart School of Music, will perform George Frederick Handel’s Concerto for Harp and Orchestra.
