Hundreds Attend Workouts Saturday To Honor Ben Callahan, 10, Who Died In A Drowning Accident
The Branford community and beyond continues to show its support and love for the Callahan family during this difficult time.

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford community and beyond continues to show its love for the Callahan family, who are dealing with the tragic death of their son, Ben, 10, last week in a drowning accident. On Saturday morning, hundreds of people participated in special workouts aimed at honoring Ben's legacy.
Workouts called “Ben-Ben” and “Ben The Warrior” – in honor of Ben’s nickname, were held at Shoreline Athletics and The PIT fitness club Saturday morning. Since Ben's death, more than 1,000 people attended a vigil on the Green to show support for the Callahan's and a GoFundMe campaign has raised nearly $37,000 as of Saturday evening.
