Importance of Urban Forests To Branford, Free Public Program By Town's Community Forest Commission

BRANFORD, CT—The Branford Community Forest Commission hosts The Importance of Urban Forests… to Branford, a free public program by Les Welker.

Welker is the Urban Forestry Partnership Coordinator with the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Welker will discuss what the urban forest is and how trees work to make our towns more comfortable, resilient, and healthy places to live and work, the town noted.
