Featured acts displaying the diverse talents of the student body. Performances included instrumental pieces, painting, Taekwondo, dancing from hip-hop to ballet, skits, comedy, singing, oratory presentations and other unique forms of talent. Sliney's music teacher Katherine Benard coordinated the evenings events.
Along with the talent show a raffle was held for a fellow student, , who is battling leukemia. A family friend, Christine Baughman, organized the different classrooms in creating themed gift baskets. Among the baskets created were a beach basket, a coffee basket, and a high sort after chocolate basket. Money raised from the raffle was donated to the family.
Here are a few photos I took of the brave and talented student. I look forward to reading any comments that you may happen to have. Thank you, John.
