Join Valley Shore Toastmasters For An Open House With Jennifer Munro, Award Winning Storyteller, Monday, December 7th at 7pm
Listen to an amazing storyteller spin her tale, hear what inspires her and get some insight into the art of storytelling.
Jennifer was born in a small English village, and learned at a young age the important arts of listening and watching. Jennifer notes her “keen observations of life have translated into a repertoire of personal stories that resonate with the frailty and resilience of the human experience.” Hear how memorable characters spring to life into carefully crafted tales, written and told by Jennifer.
Jennifer has performed at festivals across the nation, most notably as a New Voice at the National Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee, at the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival in Utah, at the University of San Diego Adult Storytelling Concert series, at the Connecticut Storytelling Festival, and at the Cape Girardeau Storytelling Festival in Missouri. She has produced two award winning CDs. The story “Aunty Lily” from Relatives and their Body Parts was a winner in the category of Stories for Adult Listeners. Her CD Beginnings, a collection of stories about giving birth, was also a winner in the same category.
