A: Yes. When you think about high school, you don’t even think about getting the opportunity to be in Phantom.

Q: So you’re looking forward to this rare opportunity to perform the musical?
A: I think it’s a wonderful opportunity that we are part of this pilot group. It’s a big responsibility but it’s going to be such a wonderful experience. It’s something I am going to be able to remember and say, ‘I was on Phantom as a senior in high school.’

Q: What do you think about your role?
A: The ballet aspect I am perfect for and the singing is not too much to overwhelm me.

Q: Is it hard to incorporate both singing and dance when performing?
A: Yes. I think it’s cool because for so long I just did the dance thing. The past four years, being in Mrs. R’s class has developed my voice and made me a more confident singer and now I get to incorporate that with my years of ballet training for this role.
