Kitten Saved By Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter Workers
After being saved while trapped on a roof, the kitten was found to be pretty sick and needed medical attention. Dan Cosgrove to the rescue!

BRANFORD, CT — Most times, our heroes aren't wearing capes. They are just doing what they do every day.
The staff at the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter aren't only heroes to the animals they rescue, but to the whole community. Mostly, the work is quiet, as animal control officers and staff do their jobs with very little fanfare.
But when a kitten is recused after being stuck on a rooftop and when found to be quite ill, treated and cared for until it can be brought to full heath and adopted out, well, that's something to shout about from the rooftops.

"What does the staff do when the call comes in about a kitten stuck on a roof, and he ends up having an upper respiratory infection? They save him- of course ! This baby is now safe with us and in recovery. He has received medical treatment and is being cared for by staff. Once he feels better he will go up for adoption. Great job DCAS staff!"
