Last Chance: Public Survey for Branford Station Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Plan
Last chance to take survey!

BRANFORD, CT - From the Town of Branford: The Town of Branford is studying opportunities for transit oriented development (TOD) in the area around the Branford Shoreline East Train Station. This Study is an integral part of a Town and regional initiative to promote neighborhood scale growth and redevelopment that recognizes the potential
benefits of a transit asset. A goal of the study is to increase the tax base, and identify uses better suited
to the current local and regional economy that are sympathetic to- and reinforce existing
neighborhoods. A focus will be placed on improving pedestrian and bicycle access and walkability, to
make clear linkages between the Town Center, Branford Station and the river front.
Time is running out to take the public survey that has been developed to gather opinions from the diverse range of people who live, work or own property in Branford, on the key issues facing the train station and waterfront area and how they envision its future. The survey can be accessed at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r... through August 21st!
