BRANFORD, CT —Brush chipping at the Transfer Station facility will begin the week of Sept. 26 through Sept. 30.

At the Transfer Station, brush brought to the facility is chipped into mulch and is free for residents, while supplies last.

And as fall is right around the bend, here's the fall leaf collection schedule beginning in October. And the spring leaf collection schedule beginning in March 2023.

Leaves must be placed in brown paper leaf bags or loose in cans, never in plastic bags, and placed near household garbage and recycling the night before regular collection day. When there is a scheduled leaf collection that falls on a holiday, they will be picked up on the following day.
