Learn, Explore & Grow: Preschool Class at the Branford Recreation Department

Register NOW at the Branford Recreation Department online at www.branford-ct.gov/parks, in the office Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, or by phone, (203) 488-8304.

Calling all toddlers ages 18 months and up, and/or their parents, grandparents, caregivers, etc. to join in this fun filled class: LEARN, EXPLORE & GROW. Wednesday mornings 9-10AM from March 29th thru May 31st 2017 at the Branford Recreation Department, 46 Church Street; the fee is $40 and siblings are welcome.

Children have the opportunity to experiment, explore, learn and create through age appropriate toys and projects. A variety of center based experiences enhance their development: multisensory materials to include but not limited to puzzles, blocks, play dough, sculpting moon sand table, latch boards, along with a themed, take home, creative art activity each class; a circle time segment with finger play songs, rhymes, footwork, and movement games using props such as the parachute, pom-poms, shakers, feathers, and varied musical instruments; and time in the gymnasium, to promote large muscle control and further physical development and movement patterns through gross motor play, with tunnels, bikes, tyke cars, balls, balance boards, chutes and much more.
