Legos Equals Science for Branford Students

The Branford Education Foundation is sponsoring a FIRST Lego League team Saturday at the Shoreline Harvest Festival.

Branford students now have the opportunity to turn their love for Legos into the study of science.

According to the New Haven Register, the Branford Education Foundation will be sponsoring students at the Shoreline Harvest Art Festival Saturday.

At the festival, Branford will have a FIRST Lego League participating, thanks for the foundation.

The article said teams of 10 children ages 9 to 14 will complete on a challenge that involves a project, a robot game and a demonstration of FIRST Lego League core values.

The Branford Education Foundation said there is only one team currently, but it is looking for coaches and mentors to start additional teams.
