Library Doors May Have Been Closed, But Their Books Are Open
Willoughby Wallace will open for appointments July 6. Blackstone has contactless pickup, access to digital resources and online programs.

BRANFORD, CT — Albert Einstein said the only thing we absolutely have to know is the location of the library.
Branford is blessed with two libraries. And through the pandemic, though the physical doors have not been open, access to the treasures within have been open. But there's nothing quite like roaming the stacks, or curling up with a book inside. Especially in Branford's beautiful libraries.
As Connecticut's libraries reopen, health and safety is a priority, the town says. And as such, ensuring strict adherence to state-mandated protocols is central to the reopen plans.

While the Blackstone Library building is still closed, we have launched a new contactless pickup service for physical items, expanded access to digital resources and are offering a variety of programs online at no cost to residents through the Zoom platform. Our library staff is also available during regular hours by phone to help with your questions. We are making plans to provide computer access by appointment beginning in early to mid-July and will post an update as these plans are finalized.
