Local Branford Studio Highlights “Craft Therapy” for Mental Health Awareness Month

Branford, CT — In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, a local business owner is shining a light on the powerful connection between creativity and mental well-being.

Re-Loved Designs, LLC, a Branford-based art studio and craft classroom, is introducing the concept of “craft therapy”—a simple, hands-on approach to reducing stress and promoting mindfulness through creative expression.

Owner Courtney Rosenberg, who also has a background as a Master of Social Work (MSW), sees the impact of crafting firsthand in her studio.

“People walk in feeling overwhelmed or stressed and leave calmer, more focused, and reconnected,” said Rosenberg. “Creative activities offer a meaningful break from screens, encourage mindfulness, and provide a sense of accomplishment—things we all need, especially right now.”
