Long-Time Branford Business to Close

The business has been a staple in the community since 1972.

After more than 40 years in Branford, Mario-Joseph Men’s Clothing store located in the Branhaven Plaza on West Main Street is closing for good in mid December.

This news while sad for long-time clients isn’t sad for its owner Mario Coppola who is looking forward to retirement, the New Haven Register reports.

Mario-Joseph is one of a handful of locally owned clothing stores around, the Register reports, while adding it was their service and care for their customers that set the long-time Shoreline business apart from others.
