'Luckily She's Doing Fantastic': Trista Milici To Come Home
Trista Milici, the First Selectman's Executive Assistant, is recovering after suffering a heart attack this weekend.
Michael Milici, husband of Branford's beloved get-it-done gal, Trista Milici said his wife is recovering at the hospital after sustaining a heart attack on Saturday.
The Branford Eagle reported this morning that Milici, 41, who has been the 's assistant for 16 years, suffered a life threatening heart attack. The Eagle reports that Milici will be out of the office for one month while she recovers.
Michael said his wife is due home tomorrow. With relief he said, "Luckily she's doing fantastic but it was touch and go there for while."

Milici is in great health and is known for her high energy and hard work ethic at where she's been First Selectman Anthony "Unk" DaRos' Executive Assistant during every term he has served. Michael said of his wife, "She's the straw that stirs the drink." DaRos was away from his office when Patch called this afternoon.
When she's not behind the scenes at Town Hall, Milici is caring for her three children, the youngest who just celebrated his fourth birthday.

Michael said the family doing well and he's happy his wife is on the mend. "I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone," he said.
