Make-A-Wish Connecticut is launching their inaugural endurance event, Trailblaze Challenge, on October 1 in northwestern Massachusetts. This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts. As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge is to raise much needed funds to grant the wishes of children in Connecticut with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives with hope, strength and joy. By supporting the Trailblaze Challenge, participants will help Make-A-Wish Connecticut grant more than 240 wishes this year.
Make-A-Wish Connecticut will be hosting information meetings at Trailblazer in Branford on June 9 at 6:00 PM and June 18 at 10:30 AM. To learn more about Trailblaze Challenge and register to be a Hiker, RSVP for one of these meetings at TrailblazeChallengeCT.org.
