Maloney, Raccio, Hull: Recent Death Notices From Branford

BRANFORD, CT — Recent death notices from Branford.

William C. "Bill" Raccio Jr., 69, of Branford, died Aug. 27, 2026. He lived most of his life in the North Branford/Branford area, working at Echlin in Branford before a career in the propane industry with Amerigas and Hocon Gas. A longtime classic car enthusiast, he helped organize numerous car shows, including the Ted Aub Car Show, whose proceeds supported veterans organizations.

Edward J. "Ned" Maloney Jr., 81, of Branford, died Sept. 4, 2026, at Masonicare in Wallingford. A certified public accountant, he served as chief financial officer of Amity Bank Corp. and later founded Prime Bank in Orange. He served as Branford town treasurer under First Selectwoman Judy Gott and belonged to the Rotary Club of Woodbridge for more than 30 years.

John Andrew Hull, 66, of Branford, died Aug. 21, 2026, at Yale New Haven Hospital. A musician who performed under the name Drew from the 1970s through the 1990s, he later ran J. Andrew Hull Painting and Decorative Finishes, doing fine interior and exterior painting on shoreline homes. He is survived by his wife, Susan Braden Hull, and two brothers.
