BRANFORD, CT — Police say it was after 3 in the morning Saturday when they got a 911 call about an assault at the Branford Hills Apartments on Florence Road.
According to Branford Police Deputy Chief John Alves, a female victim reported that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend William Pagan, 19, of East Haven. And, as she had attempted to call 911, he struggled with her to get her phone. Police said after the assault, Pagan stole the victim’s watch, purse and keys and took off in her car.
