Marie (Arduino) Donghia obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Marie (Arduino) Donghia, 92 of East Haven passed away January 20, 2026 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was born June 5, 1933 in Vandergrift, PA to Anthony and Rose (Genta) Arduino. Marie is survived by her three devoted daughters; Christine Wartko of Hamden, Diane Baker (Richard) of Hamden and Suzanne Antonucci (Harry) of Hamden along with four grandchildren she adored: Michelle Hudnall (Chad), Eric Baker (Rachel), Allie Antonucci and Vinny Antonucci and one great grandson, Ramsey Hudnall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard Donghia (2016) and two brothers; James and Louis Arduino.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family, cooking family dinners and traveling back to Pennsylvania. She was a member of St. Clare’s Ladies Guild and volunteered at the Orchard House in Branford.

Family will receive friends on Friday January 23, 2026 from 9 AM until 10:30 AM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Her funeral procession will then leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for a 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal/Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
