Meet Branford's Newest Cop On The Beat: Officer James Wilson
Wilson, who grew up in Hamden, worked for that town's parks department for a decade and is a Hamden High School assistant hockey coach.

BRANFORD, CT — There's a new cop on the beat in Branford.
Branford police welcomed one of its newest officers, James Wilson, on social media.
Police noted that Officer Wilson, who grew up in Hamden, worked for that town's Parks Department for over a decade before entering the police profession.

"We are lucky to have Officer Wilson with us, and he is looking forward to his new position in law enforcement," police wrote. "Wishing him a safe and successful career in Branford."
