The iconic bodybuilder is in the Final Four of SportzEdge.com's tournament to determine the Greatest Athlete in state history.

Bodybuilder Mike Katz is in a battle with MLB Hall of Famer Jim O’Rourke in the Final Four of SportzEdge.com’s Greatest Athlete in Connecticut History Tournament.
Katz, a Branford resident, was a star athlete in Hamden in the 1960s and was featured alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the bodybuilding documentary “Pumping Iron.”
In addition to being an iconic bodybuilder, Katz spent time in the NFL with the New York Jets.

Katz has already defeated Vin Baker, Jeff Bagwell, Joan Joyce and Chris Drury in the tournament on his way to the Final Four.
Bridgeport’s O’Rourke, who died in 1919, finished his MLB career with 2,639 hits and a .310 batting average.
