Missing Milford Teen, 17, Last Seen In Branford Found Safely
The teen said he was going to visit a family member in Branford but hasn't been seen since last night. He was found safely on Friday.

UPDATE: Milford police say Anthony DeBenedet, 17, was located safely in Jay, Maine. Police thanked the public for their assistance in finding the teen, who was last seen in Branford on Nov. 8.
MILFORD, CT — The Milford Police Department Special Investigation Unit is investigating a missing juvenile complaint. Anthony DeBenedet, a 17 year-old white male approximately 5’9, 135 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a red Utah brand sweatshirt, maroon sweatpants and black sneakers around 7 p.m. on Nov. 8, police said.
Anthony told his mother he was going to Branford to see his father and left Milford operating a 2006 Gray Ford Taurus. police said. Anthony’s father in Branford reports that he discovered Anthony’s backpack and cell phone left at his residence at approximately 9 p.m., police said. The father never saw Anthony and alerted his mother of the discovery of those belongings, police said.

Anthony has not returned to neither his father’s residence in Branford nor his mother’s in Milford, police said. Anthony recently started taking Anti-Depressant medication and his parents are concerned for his welfare, police said.
