Mom In Nature: Land Trust's Mother's Day Weekend Spring Bird Walks
The Branford Land Trust is hosting two spring bird walks on Mother's Day weekend, Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 beginning at 9 a.m.

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Land Trust is hosting two spring bird walks on Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 beginning at 9 a.m.
Local birder Chris Woerner will lead these popular walks along the Stony Creek Trolley Trail and into the Land Trust’s Vedder property. Woerner will help walkers identify the birds by sight and by call.
A rain or shone event, it's free and open to the public. Walkers should meet in Stony Creek at the far end of West Point Road across from the Willoughby Wallace Library. Choose on, or both days to walk. Mostly flat terrain with one steep, rocky hill. Families are welcome, but no dogs please.

Current COVID-19 precautions will be in place at the time of the walk. Please wear appropriate dress and comfortable, supportive walking shoes. Bring water. Walking sticks welcome.
