More than $12 Million Approved for Branford Senior Center

BRANFORD, CT - The Representative Town Meeting approved the appropriation of more than $12 million towards a new community/senior center, zip06.com reported.
The decision was made by a unanimous vote at the Dec. 14 meeting, according to zip06.com. It followed a lengthy, marathon discussion.
The vote indicates that $12.1 million in bonding will be appropriated to the 54 year-old Community House, according to zip06.com. The money will be spent on upgrading and expanding the space into a new Community/Senior Center.
