Motorcycle Ride to Benefit the Ben Callahan Foundation

The foundation was started as a charitable foundation after Ben, 10, died after drowning last month in the Branford River.

BRANFORD, CT – A motorcycle ride to benefit the Ben Callahan Foundation will be held on Sunday Sept. 17th.

The foundation was started as a charitable foundation after Ben, 10, died after drowning last month in the Branford River while swimming with his two younger brothers.

The motorcycle ride is being hosted by Leon James International Hair Studio in Branford.

Registration for the ride is at 9:30 a.m. The ride will get underway at 10 a.m.

Those participating are being asked for a $40 donation if riding alone; $50 if you will be carrying a passenger.

T-shirts and wristbands will be included for riders and will be on sale for those not riding.

Food will be provided by the Hornets Nest deli in Branford before the ride.

After the ride, hot dogs and burgers will be provided by Allegras.

There will also be a raffle. Raffle donations can be dropped off at Leon James studio, located at 241 Main Street, at anytime.
