Music, Wellness Fair, Free Vaccines, Giveaways Thursday On Green

BRANFORD, CT — Live music, ice cream, vaccines and a wellness fair, and even lots of giveaways all in one place —the Branford Green on Thursday.

The town, the Branford Community Foundation and the East Shore District Health Department have partnered for the event at 5:30 to 8 p.m. on the Green.

Live music will provide the soundtrack for the COVID-19 Vaccinations and Wellness Fair, with
Griffin Health offering all three of the COVID-19 vaccines. The Pfizer vaccine is available to anyone 12 and older (ages 12-16 need a parent/guardian present and those ages 17 to 18 need parent/guardian signature); and the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available to anyone 18 and older.

For those who get vaccinated, there's free ice cream and giveaways. There’s no fee, no insurance and no ID required.

And, the East Shore District Health Department is introducing its Mobile Wellness Van which offers free blood pressure, glucose testing, cholesterol testing, health guidance and health education. Plus, more free giveaways.

Should it rain, the vaccine clinic and wellness fair only will be moved to the Branford Community House, 46 Church St.
