The Elm Cafe just celebrated its 60th anniversary. What do you know about the history of the pub?
At the beginning of May, I got an e-mail from a Branford Patch reader who wanted to let us know that the Elm Cafe was celebrating its 60th anniversary. The anniversary party happened on May 27th, complete with cake!
Back in 1952, the Elm Cafe came to Branford -- and, according to the Patch reader who suggested the article -- it may be the oldest standing pub in Branford. What do you know about the Elm Cafe and its beginnings?
