O,R&L Announces Branford-Based Technology Company Signs Long-Term Lease On Commercial Street Site

BRANFORD, CT — O,R&L Commercial completed a long-term lab/office lease on Commercial Street in Branford.

Ancera, Inc. will lease a 20,126-square-foot industrial site at 16 Commercial St.

Will Braun, SIOR, CCIM and Nick Leone of O,R&L Commercial represented the landlord, 16 Commercial Street Associates, LLC and Chris Ostop of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) represented the tenant, Ancera, Inc.

The long-term lease "supports the company’s continued operations and growth within the community," according to O,R&L.

Ancera, Inc., a Branford-based technology company, develops advanced software and technology solutions that are designed to "make food production more secure, efficient, and profitable," according to its website.

According to its website, the company, founded in 2012, "combines analytics, diagnostics and automation to provide food producers with actionable data that can help identify and mitigate risks, improve productivity, and support regulatory compliance."

O,R&L noted in a news release that Ancera has "developed a growing portfolio of technology for the food production industry, with a particular focus on poultry. Its platform incorporates microbial diagnostics, data science, and automation to help producers monitor food safety risks and make faster, data-driven operational decisions.
