Obituary: Alan E. Haroskewicz, Sr., 74, of Branford

Alan E. Haroskewicz, Sr. of Branford, died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Sunday August 20, 2017 at the Hospital of Saint Raphael Campus, YNHH. He was the beloved husband of Diane Haroskewicz. Alan was born in New Haven September 21, 1942, son of the late Walter and Muriel Haroskewicz. He was presently working as an electronics technician at Electric Boat in Groton, where he’s worked for the past 35 years. He was a former volunteer firefighter with Branford Fire Department Co. 4 in Short Beach and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Besides his wife Alan is survived by his children, Alana Haroskewicz of East Haven and Alan E. (Molly) Haroskewicz of Watertown, CT; his step-children, Victoria DeNicolo of Branford and Chuck (Joanne) Miller of Auburn, MA; and eight grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to a grave side funeral service Friday morning at 11:00 in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
