Albert J. Petrosino 74, of Short Beach Branford beloved husband of Joanne Calandro Petrosino passed away on May 22, 2017 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Loving father of Gina Bejnerowicz and Joseph (Maura) Petrosino all of Branford and the late Michael A. Petrosino. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Brother of Anne Murray of East Haven. Father -in- law of the late Barbara Petrosino and brother -in- law of the late James Murray. Albert was born in New Haven on April 6, 1943 son of the late Joseph F. and Rafaela Pacileo Petrosino.

Prior to his retirement Albert was the owner of Shore Automotive. As a young boy he and his dad founded the successful, Short Beach-based business Shore Automotive which was successfully run by family for over 50 years. Albert was well admired for his kindness, compassion and generosity to his customers and the community. Additionally, he served as an active member of the Branford RTM. Albert fought through many illnesses for the last 15 years of his life.

His determination was unbreakable and contagious. It is very important to thank the many doctors who selflessly supplied wonderful care to him throughout these years of sickness. Despite all of Albert's many accomplishments, he was primarily known as a family man and with his many hours of work to support his business, he was always there for all very important family dinners and spent many loving hours with his family and friends.
