Obituary: Alexander John Krelowicz, Jr. of Branford

Alexander John Krelowicz, Jr. of Branford, died after a brief illness on January 3, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Alexander was born in Branford on September 5, 1935, son of the late Alexander J. Krelowicz, Sr. and Amelia Krelowicz. He was predeceased by his wife, Millicent (Mester) Krelowicz. He is survived by his children Bambi-Lynne Bush (Charles) and Alexander “John” Krelowicz, III; his sister Catherine Perry; grandchildren Jeremiah Bush (Melissa), Rachel-Lynne Bush; and great-grandchildren Geneva and Aliyah Bush.

Alexander was known for his kindness and his gentle ways. He enjoyed meeting friends for coffee, especially Butch at his car repair shop every afternoon. You could always find him sitting down at Branford Point with his son, watching the boats come in and out.

Funeral services will be private.
