Obituary: Amanda A. Williams-Taylor, 30, of Branford

Amanda A. Williams-Taylor of Branford died suddenly at her home on Saturday August 18, 2018. Amanda was born in New Haven August 4, 1988, beloved daughter of Mary Murphy-Taylor of Branford and the late Ronald W. Taylor. She grew up in Branford. She received a dual degree in Psychology and Public Health from SCSU. Amanda also attended Franklin Pierce College.
She had worked as a supervisor for Essex Meadows at South Cove in Essex. She loved her dog “Jimmie” and her cats “Tallulah & Daisy”. She loved to dance and danced at Steppin’ Out in Branford for 11 years. Besides her mother Amanda is survived by her fiancé Wendell T. Gary of Branford; her sister Desiree Willer of New Britain and her aunt Anne L. Murphy of Branford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Visiting hours will be Thursday evening from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street Branford, and may attend her Mass of Christian Burial Friday morning at 9:30 in St. Mary Church Branford. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
