Obituary: ​Ann Brusseau Collier, 84, of Branford

She was a longtime, very active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Branford.

Ann Brusseau Collier of Branford died Thursday December 29, 2016, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John Robert Collier. Ann was born in Massachusetts November 22, 1932, daughter of the late Albert and Mary Agnes Cauley Brusseau.

Among other places, Ann worked for the New Haven Terminal for many years until retiring. She was a longtime, very active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Branford. She was a member of the Canoe Brook Senior Center in Branford.

She was an avid quilter, both with the Willoughby Wallace Library quilters and for Quilts of Valor.Ann is survived by her children, Kathleen (Joseph) Thomas of Branford, David (Debbie) Collier of Trumbull and Steven (Sheila) Collier of Branford; her sister June Brusseau of Branford, and eight grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service Wednesday January 4, 2017 at 10:00 at Trinity Episcopal Church, on the green in Branford.
