Obituary: Anthony Kobylanski, 70, of Branford

Anthony Kobylanski of Branford died peacefully on Wednesday February 7 at CT Hospice in Branford. He was the husband of Edythe McBrierty Kobylanski of Branford. He was the father of Melissa Coyle (James) of Guilford. He was the son of Irene Swirenko Kobylanski of Hamden and the brother of Stanley Kobylanski (Pauline) of North Haven.
He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Maeve, Andrew, and Madelyn, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Roman Kobylanski and his brother John Kobylanski. Anthony was born in Wells, Austria on October 15, 1947. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a museum tech for Yale University and the Peabody Museum. He was also a volunteer fireman for 45 years at M.P. Rice in Branford. Friends may call Monday from 4-7 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 at St. Therese Church in Branford. Burial will be private.
