Obituary: Anthony Perrone, 87, of Branford
Anthony was a Linoleum and Tile Mechanic for 33 years and later worked for Quinnipiac University for 25 years until his retirement.

Anthony Perrone, 87, of Branford, formerly of Hamden for many years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 61 years to Elizabeth Tuttle Perrone. Anthony was born in New Haven on March 1, 1931 and was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Santaro Perrone. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Anthony was a Linoleum and Tile Mechanic for 33 years and later worked for Quinnipiac University for 25 years until his retirement. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. Father of Linda DiRienzo (Angelo), Donna Mikos (David) and Anthony Perrone (Laura). Grandfather of Robert McNamara, Thomas McNamara (Donna), Daniel McNamara (Erica), Cole Perrone (fiancé Danielle Consiglio), Reese and Eve Perrone. Brother of Nellie McGinnity, Michael Perrone and the late Harry Perrone. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren A.J. DiRienzo (Kim) and Lexy Butler (Marc) and three step-great grandchildren.

His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Tuesday morning at 10:15. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church, Branford at 11:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 pm.
