Antonio Mauro, 88, of Branford formerly of Hamden passed away June 12, 2018 in Apple Rehab-Laurel Woods. Husband of the late Carmela Massaro Mauro. Beloved father of Ralph Mauro of Branford and Anna (Salvatore) Diana of Glen Cove, NY. Loving grandfather of Tony, Vincent and Philip Mauro, Maria Ferrucci and Antonio and Giovanni Diana. Son of the late Raffaele and Anna Daddio Mauro. Brother of the late Marietta Ferrucci, Emma Fiondella, Rosa Maturo and Gioso Mauro.
Also survived by 8 great grandchildren. Prior to his retirement Antonio was mason for many years and was the owner of the former Antonio Mauro Construction Co.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Friday morning at 10:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church (Branford) at 10:30. Entombment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call FRIDAY MORNING from 8:00-10:00.
