Obituary: Augustine D. Perrotti of Branford
He was a 1993 inductee into the East Haven Hall of Fame as a member of the Citywide Crowhills Football.

Augustine D. Perrotti of Branford died Thursday November 1, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband to Joan Austin Perrotti. Mr. Perrotti was born in North Haven February 8, 1930, son of the late Chester and Mildred Trangese Perrotti. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
He retired from the UI Company after working there for 39 years in mechanical maintenance. He was a 1993 inductee into the East Haven Hall of Fame as a member of the Citywide Crowhills Football team from 1948-52. Augie retired at the age of 63 and spent many fun filled years wintering at his Florida condo where he loved to play golf with his Florida friends and also enjoyed walking the beaches with Joan collecting sea shells.Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Stephen Perrotti of Branford, Philip Perrotti of Plantsville and Paul (Lisette) Perrotti of North Branford; his sisters, Ida Crisafi and Patricia Amendola, both of Branford, and eight grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother Salvatore Perrotti. Visiting hours will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 - 7:00 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10:00 in St. Mary Church, Branford.
