Barbara (Miessau) Davis 67 of Branford passed away September 21, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born in New Haven on December 27, 1950 and lovingly raised by her parents, Reine (LaPointe) Miessau and the late Allen P. Miessau. Barbara retired from AT&T in 2001 after 32 years of dedicated service with them. She loved spending time with her family and treated her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children.

Barbara loved to travel and was an avid country music fan, attending hundreds of concerts over the years. She is survived by her siblings Kenneth Miessau (Nancy) of Westbrook, Bruce Miessau of CA, Debbie Miessau of Georgia, Linda Torino (Jerry) of Wallingford, and Dorothy Turcotte (Ronald) of Meriden; her niece, Gina Sullivan (Pete) of Clinton; nephews, Jason Rispoli (Jen) of Cromwell and Joseph Miessau (Jackie) of NJ along with several other nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her sister, Kathy Marra; her brother, Daniel Miessau; her biological father Joseph B. Miessau and her biological mother Norma Shea.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven CT with burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
