Obituary: Bartolomeo (Bart) Tammaro, Jr., 87, of Branford
With a longtime retail sales career in the New Haven area, he enjoyed dabbling in electronics and looked forward to road trips to Virginia.

Bartolomeo (Bart) Tammaro, Jr, husband of Terry Lenehan Tammaro for 61 years, passed away peacefully at Apple Rehab, Guilford, on September 9, 2023, one month before his 88th birthday. He was the son of Bartolomeo and Christine (Frango) Tammaro. He was born, raised, and attended schools in New Haven. After getting married, he and Terry spent several years in West Haven before settling in Branford.
Bart loved to dabble in electronics and was fascinated by computers. He had a career in retail sales, working in many well-known department stores in the New Haven area. He looked forward to the many road trips he and Terry would take to Virginia each summer- always stopping to enjoy the sites in his favorite place, Williamsburg, before visiting his Frango relatives in and around Roanoke, VA.
