Obituary: Carl V. Kosobiecki, 81, of Branford

Carl V. Kosobiecki, 81, of Branford beloved husband of 58 years and high school sweetheart to Esther Pizzorusso Kosobiecki passed away peacefully on April 29, 2022 surrounded by his family at his home. Loving father of Deborah (Dave) Barger of Moosup and Renee (Scott) McIntyre of North Branford. Grandfather of Carlie and Cameron McIntyre. Brother of Barbara Dziuba of Guilford and the late Vincent Kosobiecki. Carl was born in New Haven on April 18, 1941 son of the late Genevieve Kosobiecki.

Prior to his retirement Carl was the shipping supervisor for Rockbestos Wire and Cable. Carl loved the Red Sox, New York Giants and loved spending time at the casino.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven WEDNESDAY morning at 10:15. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Bosco Parish in St. Mary’s Church (Branford) at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call TUESDAY from 4pm to 7pm.
