Obituary: Caroline Mongillo Noebel, 88, of Branford
She worked as a seamstress for Berger Brothers in New Haven for many years until retiring.

Caroline Mongillo Noebel of Branford, formerly of Port Charlotte, FL, died Tuesday March 28, 2017 in the Hospital of St. Raphael Campus, YNHH. She was the wife of the late Louis Mongillo and Ernest Noebel.
Mrs. Noebel was born May 2, 1928 in New Haven, daughter of the late Valentino and Eleanora Luzzi Asprelli. She worked as a seamstress for Berger Brothers in New Haven for many years until retiring. She is survived by her daughters, Margaurita D'Errico of Hamden, and Valarie (Jim) Tucker of North Branford; her grandchildren, Kim (Frank) Amatruda, Kristi Jenkins, Christopher (Devon) Mongillo, Scott (Danielle) Mongillo, Joe (Nicole) Mongillo, Jim Tucker, Jr., and Jason (Lauren) Tucker; her brothers, Evo Asprelli of East Haven, and Philip (Barbara) Asprelli of North Haven, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Mongillo her brothers, Silvio and Dalio Asprelli and her sister, Ann Morrone.

Her family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on Celentano 3 at the Hospital of St. Raphael Campus for their care shown to Caroline.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service, Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the First Baptist Church of Branford. There are no calling hours and burial will be private.
