Catherine M. Datre of Branford, CT went home to her Lord on November 5, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William A. Datre.

Born December 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John and Filomena Onorato. Catherine worked as a corporate executive secretary in her early years before retiring to dedicate herself to her beloved grandchildren.

She was a devoted "nanny" to her six grandchildren Aimee Cutini, Dean Datre Jr., Danielle Datre, Andrew Datre, Nicholas Datre, and Olivia Datre; and one great-grandchild, her namesake Catherine Cutini. She was the loving and proud mother of five children, Dean Datre Sr. of Pittsburgh, PA, Marilou (Allen) Hahn of Lewes, DE, Donna Datre of Madison, NJ, Michael Datre of Seymour and William T. (Melissa) Datre of Branford.
