Obituary: Constance Chieppo, 71, of Branford

Constance Chieppo of Branford died peacefully Saturday, December 31. She was the loving, dedicated wife of Edward Chieppo for 51 years. She was the mother of Tracy Sotero(husband Vince) of Branford and Lisa Ferrigno(husband Paul Brown) of Newport, New Hampshire.

She was the sister of Donald Palmer of Camden, Maine, Jeannie Thurlow of East Winn, Maine and Debbie Peters of Maine. She was an amazing grandmother to Spenser Lyn, Cameron, Owen, Quinn, Timothy, Zachary and Grace. Connie was predeceased by her son, James Chieppo and her brothers, Richard, Gary and Lawrence Palmer.

Connie was born in Patten, Maine on May 2, 1945, a daughter of Victor Palmer and Laura Birmingham Perry. Connie was the Branch Manager at the AAA Office in Branford for 25 years.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-6pm at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. The burial will be private for family members only at 10:30am on Friday at East Lawn Cemetery, 58 River Street, East Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, which can be reached at www.theaftd.org.
